Urzula Vol invites you to explore a jewellery installation at the curated designer and vintage store Hello Buybuy. In her practice the designer reinterprets classical ideas of beauty by working with layering, contrasts and textures. During Antwerp.Fashion Festival she transforms an area of the store into a wild, yet intimate landscape showcasing her latest collection Pasakas par ziediem (Tales About Flowers) in combination with unreleased works. The collection is rooted in subconscious sketches made over time. When translated into a physical form the organic shapes evolve into flowers. Jewellery is presented in contrast with natural forms and textures, allowing the pieces to simultaneously merge with and stand out from their surroundings.
