MoMu: The Antwerp Six – Late-night opening

In 2026, MoMu – FashionMuseum Antwerp will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the international breakthrough of the Antwerp Six with a large-scale exhibition. This marks the first time an official exhibition has been dedicated to these six iconic designers.

The exhibition highlights the unique journey that connects the six designers. It began with their training at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and culminated in six influential solo careers. Dirk Bikkembergs, Ann Demeulemeester, Walter Van Beirendonck, Dries Van Noten, Dirk Van Saene, and Marina Yee put Antwerp on the fashion map when they presented their collections at the British Designer Show in London in 1986. This led to their international breakthrough and established Antwerp’s reputation as a fashion city. Their distinctive designs continue to influence the fashion world to this day.
