Gezeever X Kisses with Saliva

Gezeever, an Antwerp-based screen printing studio, is collaborating with fashion brand Kisses with Saliva to present an interactive circular fashion installation during Antwerp Fashion Week at Forbidden City.

Over the past year, the two have sourced second-hand garments and professionally reworked them into a limited collection of upcycled, foil-treated pieces titled Swans. The title is inspired by a 1950s American tradition in which leftovers were wrapped in aluminum foil shaped into swans an elegant gesture reflecting a culture of frugality and a commitment to reducing waste. These decorative forms transformed the presentation of leftovers, turning them into symbols of both hospitality and creative resourcefulness.

Now, Els of Gezeever and Cate of Kisses with Saliva aim to extend that same spirit to the Antwerp community. Through this interactive installation, visitors by appointment or through a limited number of walk-in slots are invited to bring a piece of their own used clothing and watch it be transformed and foiled on-site into a renewed garment: their very own Swan.
