MXLN presenting Daniel Young Hanson: BECAUSE IT WILL HURT MORE

MXLN presenting Daniel Young Hanson – Tailor-artists Maximiliaan Verswijvelt-Boudens (Bruges/Antwerp) and Nicholas Hanson (London/Nottingham) construct a cardboard castle on the occasion of the Antwerp Fashion Festival, a structure housing eight unique pieces inspired by the figures of the Robin Hood legend.

The installation offers a window onto each artist’s individual practice while revealing the playful
spirit of an exchange that has sustained their friendship and shared craft for thirteen years.
Visitors are invited to wander through a world built from repurposed materials in which the
tailor’s art is turned inside out.
