With THE BODY AS A PRINTING PRESS, ABELONE WILHELMSEN transforms her store
and shop window into a sensory fashion installation during Antwerp.Fashion Festival. A
hypnotic video loop exploring pressure, friction and imprint plays behind a curated look in the
window, making the design process visually tangible. Inside the store, a compact Pressure Index
featuring tactile swatches and short captions invites visitors to discover material, trace, layer and
repetition. Each festival day introduces a new numbered pressure-print card as a small
collectible. Even after closing time, the window remains active as an after-hours window
cinema. In this way, slow fashion is given a powerful and accessible presence at street level.
